after watching the scene where lexie dies all i can think about is how much mark loved her. he loved her so much and he never told her until it was almost too late. he got one last moment with her. one last moment. and it wasn’t enough. even after she died he just sat there, telling her he loved her over and over again hoping that she’d say it back one more time, just for reassurance that she knew he loved her. loves her. he always loved her and no one else would ever love him or be loved by him as much as she did or was. they were simply meant to be.
just caught up on greys and i can honestly say i have never cried so hard over an episode/show before in my life
